I am an Associate Instructor passionate about educating and mentoring low-income, first-generation and at high risk of failure US military veterans. I seek to apply innovative pedagogical techniques and research-based technologies to improve participant knowledge and college readiness for difficult to serve populations. It is my goal to devise and deliver a personalized curriculum to each and every student in order to meet student needs and foster a culture of growth. I have participated extensively in collaboratively operating Veterans Upward Bound, where I am currently the most senior member of the grant. I also am a Data Scientist, specializing in COVID-19 analysis. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Miami and a Masters of Public Health in Biostatistics from Florida International University. My first author work has been cited on CNN, The Sun Sentinel, Palm Beach Post, Miami Herald and The Wall Street Journal. I seek to apply my passion for analytics to service and achieve excellence in instruction, mentorship and grant operation.
